Today marked the second day of the state investiture ceremony held in conjunction with the 85th birthday celebration of the Penang Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Ramli Ngah Talib.

A total of 310 recipients were conferred various titles, awards and honours during today’s ceremony. Overall, 1,221 individuals have been nominated to receive state titles, awards and medals throughout the investiture ceremony, which is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday.

Also present were Penang State Speaker Datuk Seri Law Choo Kiang, Deputy Chief Minister I Prof Datuk Dr Mohamad Abdul Hamid, Deputy Chief Minister II Jagdeep Singh Deo, as well as other state leaders and dignitaries.
